Hi Martin I've recently come back from knee op after 5 month lay off but with intense physio therapy and gritted teeth I've now got to close to near where I'd like to be

I got a new knee 18 months ago. My advice would be to start off with short rides and gradually build up over several weeks and months. My first trip out on the bike, 3 1/2 months after the op was just 20 miles and left me exhausted, even with a coffee break half way round! 4 months after that I was comfortably able to ride to Monschau in Germany for a week's holiday. Don't overdo it. You will get there!

It's been a year.
Can do over 50 miles without problems.
Well i do get a bump on the joint .
But that's ok
No pain killers though.
And no jamming of the joint.
